2nd visit. As always, busy. I was lucky to get a table right away. Food, as always, great taste and sufficient portion. Keep it up.

Attention: If you park your bike in the bike parking lot, you shouldn't leave anything on or on the bike. A drink bottle was stolen from a member of our bicycle group from the pannier anchored to the bicycle, although we were only about 8 meters away with a good view of the bicycle !!!

Food tastes great. I think the concept of ordering at the checkout is very good for Corona. The waitresses do not come into contact with cash and are in contact with all the customers as briefly as possible.

At first we had concerns, because in the photos it looked like you could only sit outside and it is not so warm anymore. But they closed part of the space with sliding glass elements and set up spotlights so that you could sit there while it was cooler outside. The food and service are very, very good and even better for the price! Clear recommendation!

We have been coming to "riebels" for many years, took a vacation here 40 years ago and have been back several times to eat. Nothing has changed here either. Friendliness, cleanliness and very good food. Good portions, tasty is still the family's guide. The fish platter for 2 people is a poem. Keep it up!

Super good fish. Now unfortunately a bit cumbersome due to Corona. Very good price performance ratio. Nice location also accessible by boat.

Great fish dishes, lovely location. Grilled fish, baked fish, fish burger for kids, all really really good. To go option is great for picnics. Parking is next to impossible, better to come by bike or walk from the main road. Service was overwhelmed and did but explain the system for seating: line up at register, get a number, wait, get called, sit down, then go to front of line despite angry looks from others living up, order, get food brought to table. We were just seated and waited for 15 minutes for service that never came.

My first choice as a fish snack for years. The fillets are perfectly fried, the potatoes and the salad are a treat. Bring enough time, it is usually very busy. Prices according to the region.

Thanks to the direct neighborhood on Seestrasse and after many years of happy fish consumption by our family at Riebel in Laden & Lokal, thanks to a mere 30 cents, you lose your desire to continue supporting the business. When asked about the difference between the award and the 10% higher price according to the receipt, I only received the snippy grinning answer, "Yes, that's the way it is." You leave the shop speechless about this audacity ... But, as is well known, pride comes before the fall! I wish the cormorant population in Gnadensee steady growth and a good appetite!

Very good fish dishes. Located directly on the lake. Waiting times have to be expected, but it is definitely worth it. Highly Recommended.

We have been coming to eat for years. The char was grilled excellently. In addition, a delicious crunchy vegetable. Nice friendly service. View of Lake Constance. We will be back.

Strange system for allocating and ordering seats: like many others, we were in line twice. The fact that we (2 people) were then placed at a 6-person beer bench with two strangers is extremely worrying in times of Corona. If you order a plate for two people, you are taking a risk (see photo) that is not priced appropriately. All in all, not particularly recommended.

I've known the restaurant for years. I have to go there at least once on every holiday on Lake Constance. The fish is deliciously prepared and the salads and side dishes are also tasty. Now, in times of Corona, you have to bring some time with you. You are assigned a table.

The fish dishes and the salads are very tasty but in times of Corona you have to bring a lot of time with you if you want to eat here. What is quite impossible that you had to sit in the last corner of the garage. We paid as much for the dish as the guests, who could sit comfortably. . What a disappointment

It was so full when the weather was great that we didn't want to wait. Bought fish cakes in the store. They were the best of my life !!! Sooo delicious 😁. On our next Lake Constance vacation we will definitely eat fish here 😋

We're glad! It is always and I can say that even after years, the service, the quality and the ambience has not diminished. A big praise that the "Bei Riebels" team has found a solution in these special times. On a Tuesday around 12.30 p.m. there was no sign of the "restrictions". The guests were very understanding and waited until they got a seat. The atmosphere was more relaxed than last year. This time we ordered online and took the food with us! Perfect solution and the dishes do not lose their quality during transport! The packaging is environmentally friendly! A pleasure experience! Thank you............ Please stay healthy! Great food and friendly service! However, this is a very popular place and they know it. So do expect to wait a long time outside of the restaurant, next to the trash cans. They also do no allow for ordering even non alcoholic drinks while waiting. No reservations for groups less than 8 people!

Perfectly cooked fish with locally sourced ingredients. It is worth the the wait if a table is not immediately available.

Had grilled char with salad. The fish was excellent, the salad very good. You have to bring some time with you before you can order and then get a table. To drink we had a Müller-Thurgau from the island. Highly Recommended

Decent food

Great variety of fish served with other local vegetables and greens. Try the local wine or island beer. I like the simple setup in an old garage, sitting next to the street with a view across the water. You might need to wait a bit to get a table but it's really worth it.

Beautiful place! A bit off the beaten track and inconspicuous at first glance. Delicious food !!! Brilliant fish and also local wine! I recommend to everyone!

Simply delicious. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Our son, who is normally hardly fish, ate mine away from me. Friendly staff. The shop was full since it had just started to rain and everyone was running ... nevertheless the staff did not lose sight of the overview and was always friendly. We love to come back :-)

Fantastic place to stop for good fish and Reichenau food. Note: this place is packed every single time that we go by, if you are a larger group it can be extremely difficult to get a place.

Exquisit fresh fish from the Bodensee, great price-quality. Beilage salat and Zander Brötchen are more than enough for a lunch and under 10€!

Riebel’s is an excellent fish restaurant! Delicious fish for a reasonable price in a breath-taking location. They have a small roof with helps you during a shower but it is not suited for cold weather or heavy lasting rain. One slight disadvantage is the “cash only” policy – make sure you have got some Euros on you. However an absolute must insider tip directly on lake Constance and perfect for a bike trip.

Very tasty fish, Small choice of dishes but very good combinations. The only downside to it there are no parking places and it is always almost too crowded.

Delicious fish, fast and friendly service - you should definitely get the large fish platter for two to share! You can only pay cash and the next ATM is 3km away, that's one star less.

Loved it. The food is all straight from the island. The fish is caught directly off the shore and all the ingredients for the salads are grown on the island. It's a fantastic place with a great local atmosphere.
